Shoma Christian Academy

Shadrach studies at Shoma Christian Academy. He is a 3 years old boy who loves and enjoys school very well. He is hardworking, intelligent, brilliant and always smart. He likes making friends and playing with them, he likes sharing the paly materials with his friends and does not like rough or hurtful games. He also likes participating in class lessons and other activities like leading and praying in devotion and helping out friends when needed. He enjoys studying and asks questions where he gets difficulties, enjoys storytelling, listening to stories and he is very confident.

When at school, Daliah is very active and friendly to friends and staff members. Daliah joined Shoma Christian Academy when she was only 3 years old but has gradually grown to love the school very much. She is a good playmate and loves sharing play materials with friends. She loves to sing and lead in devotion and she is confident in everything. She is a good listener especially when it is storytime.

Tabitha is a young 2 and half year old girl. She is a lovely child whom everyone loves so much. She has been at Shoma for only one term in Genesis Class. It was very hard for Tabitha to sit in class but she had to settle down in class after adjusting. At first she was very quiet and would just smile whenever you ask her anything but when with her classmates, you may find her talking. She likes playing with toys and she dislikes sharing. Tabitha pays attention while studying and receiving instructions though for a very short time. She enjoys coloring and most of the times she will participate when you invite her.

Natalia joined Shoma Christian Academy in 2017 in Exodus Class. She was too humble, hardly associated with the other children and was always silent whenever asked a question. Academically, she could recognize only alphabets and had hardships in segmenting, blending and reading. By 2018, Natalia was promoted to Kings Class which is the equivalent of Top Class at the age of 5 years where she progressed greatly. When in class, she could pay close attention and concentrate during lessons. She could recognize all the work taught to her for the whole year in Kings Class. Natalia became very active, participative and more confident. She was promoted to P.1 in 3rd term of 2018 and that was after her excellence in Reading. She could read perfectly like a child who had learnt to read for more than 2 years. Her articulation, fluency and proficiency in reading were just perfect for a child her age. After all the time spent at Shoma, Natalia was very social, she could easily interact with everyone including staff members. She loved to learn new things and would easily figure out answers to any questions asked, even when she had no idea about it. She had knowledge about various things even outside class. She was very responsible and always loved helping her friends including teaching them where necessary.Spiritually, Shoma nurtured Natalia in an awesome way in that she was good at memorizing scriptures and whenever she was given a chance, her prayers were like that of an adult.
